Ed Vanga
VP of AI who still builds things.
I lead AI product management for travel and hospitality brands, from airlines to fast food to hotels: getting their platforms ready for AI agents, and changing how software gets built now that AI writes so much of it. I still build things myself, and I write down what I learn.
Everything, newest first

- Building a trading app on MCP
I built an AI trading agent on Robinhood's Trading MCP with the guardrails in code. It ran live, then I moved to Grok Bot, and the broker's limits gave me a rule.

- Hey Siri, book me a hotel in Vegas
Publicis Sapient's Guide to Next 2025 quoted me on surface-level AI and on getting ready for assistants that book for guests. With an October 2026 update on where those assistants stand.
- Reimagining destination discovery for the age of AI
Why Search with AI for Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy asks what you want to do before where you want to go, and why we threw out the chatbot. Skift Data + AI Summit, New York.

- AI generative search: The Future of Travel & Hospitality
With Nitin Sood of Marriott, I told the Search with AI story as a generative AI journey with Microsoft, at a Microsoft and Publicis Sapient travel workshop in Fort Lauderdale.
- Search with AI for Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy
Travelers describe the trip they want and get matching vacation homes. I led the Publicis Sapient work on Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy's generative AI search.
