About

I lead AI work at a global digital consultancy, where I've spent about 16 years. Most of my work now is helping large brands get their platforms ready for AI agents, and changing how software gets built now that AI writes so much of it.

I stay hands-on. I build my own apps and agents, I'm making a browser game, and I write software for the band I sing in. Building things myself keeps me honest about what AI can and can't do.

How I work

Understand the why first.
I ask about the reasoning before I change anything.
Small changes, checked against the whole.
Targeted edits, each one reviewed in full context.
Test with real inputs before shipping.
Simulate actual use and make sure everything downstream still holds.
Treat constraints as the brief.
Regulations, legacy platforms, budgets, and uptime rules shape the design. They aren't in its way.
Honest scope.
If it can't be done in ninety days, I won't sell it like it can.
AI as a working partner.
For code, decks, research, and creative work. I check what it gives me.

Off the clock

I sing in Red House Band and play golf.
